HI, my name is Kim and I am the Manager of our Nursery at Naphill and Walters Ash school. I am degree qualified and hold an EYPS. I have worked in Early years for 22 years, and became part Owner with my mum Bernadette in 2003. I moved to Buckinghamshire in 2006 and continued to commute to London to work in our Harrow nursery until 2020. I am a mum of 3 wonderful children aged 11,11, and 4, and they have all been to my nurseries. My mantra is ‘If it isn’t good enough for my own children, it won’t be good enough for anybody else’s children’. I have had the honour of working with some incredible families over the years, and I’m looking forward to building up the same community here in Buckinghamshire.
We are delighted to introduce to you our new Nursery located in the annexe at Naphill and Walters Ash school in Buckinghamshire. We will be registered for up to 32 children under the age of 5. We will be open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, term time only. Our Nursery has 2 main playrooms, a lovely enclosed garden and an invitation from the school to use their grounds at certain times of the day.
Throughout the day the children are offered a variety of learning and play experiences, both planned and spontaneous. Within a safe and stimulating environment children are encouraged to choose their activities during free play, thus developing their independence and self-esteem. Our curriculum is based on the Early years Foundation stage and a blend of The Curiosity Approach and Learning through play. Our resources are chosen with care, and inspire little hands and curious minds to explore and learn.
We balance educational experiences and fun, with careful planning and monitoring. We follow a blend of Your child’s key-person will extend and develop your child’s learning and play and you will have a wonderful learning journey folder to take with you when your child leaves for school. We pride ourselves on our community atmosphere, and aim to include our families as much as we can.
Our food is all home cooked on site, and will take into account all dietary requirements and allergies. Food is healthy and nutritious and will introduce children to seasonal ingredients and flavours from around the world.
